Mary Wyse is the Analytics Manager for Aer Rianta International (ARI). With over eight years’ experience in retail analytics and management, Mary’s current role is challenging and diverse, with responsibility for managing, maintaining & supporting the analytics function for six locations globally, including Canada, Cyprus, Montenegro & New Zealand.

Mary joined ARI in 2007. Before pursuing her analytical path, Mary worked as a Retail Sales Manager and Business Specialist in ARI at Dublin Airport. Understanding first-hand how a business works and being able to bring that real-life experience to the data is fundamental to relevant and effective analytics for the ARI business.

Mary has a passion for the travel retail industry, living this daily, inspiring change and helping others. She is one of the founding members of the EMEA chapter of Women in Travel THRIVE, a non-profit organisation founded in 2020, whose aim is to reduce the impact that COVID-19 on women’s careers and open doors for women across the travel industry by facilitating unique networking opportunities.

Most recently, Mary was proud to be elected the Diversity & Inclusion Champion for the ARI Global team, working to drive the D&I agenda, supporting the delivery of the framework and strategy on this important topic that she is passionate about.

Mary studied Biotechnology in Dublin City University. She has qualifications in Airport Retailing Management as well as Data Analytics, and is currently studying for a Masters in Applied Statistics from Technological University Dublin.

In her spare time, Mary is an avid music fan, frequently (pre COVID) going to concerts and plays the saxophone.
