ASIA PACIFIC. Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA) will host the next edition of its acclaimed webinar series The APAC Dialogue on 12 October 2021, as part of the Knowledge Hub agenda at the Virtual Travel Retail Expo.
Details of the topic and speakers will be announced in the coming weeks. All sponsorship funds from the webinar will go directly to APTRA.
In endorsing the Virtual Travel Retail Expo, APTRA President Sunil Tuli said, “With our airport, retailer and brand members across Asia Pacific unable to travel freely due to the constraints posed by the pandemic, it is critical that we meet as an industry and engage in discussing how we collectively navigate a fast-changing industry landscape.
“The Virtual Travel Retail Expo allows those goals to be met in a high-class digital format regardless of travel restrictions. We also look forward to the opportunity to meet our members in person when circumstances permit and we are hopeful there will be an opportunity to do so at the Tax Free World Association World Exhibition in Cannes in October.
“We encourage APTRA members to support these events that both provide valuable opportunities to share ideas, discussion, support and debate as the industry looks to plan and re-build post-pandemic.”
The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said: “We’re honoured to have APTRA not only endorse our event but also provide one of the highlights of the Knowledge Hub agenda with the latest edition of The APAC Dialogue.
“Together, we promise the industry some top speakers and more of the frank, insightful discussion that has highlighted the series to date.”
APTRA will also have a virtual stand at the Expo where it will showcase its ongoing work on behalf of the travel retail industry in Asia Pacific.
The APAC Dialogue is a partnership with The Moodie Davitt Report to support APTRA’s critical lobbying and industry representation work.
