INTERNATIONAL. Cream liqueur brand The House of Sōmrus has again teamed up with US influencers, fashionistas and golf celebrities The Sadekar Sisters, Nisha and Seema, to host the Virtual Coffee breaks at the Moodie Davitt Virtual Travel Retail Expo, which takes place on 11-15 October.
The Sadekar Sisters are Global Ambassadors for the fast-growing cream liqueur brand, which is distributed in travel retail by Duty Free Global, a Platinum Partner of the all-digital event. The House of Sōmrus Coffee Breaks were a big hit during last year’s hugely successful Moodie Davitt Virtual Travel Retail Expo, offering golf tips and style advice to Expo visitors in between Knowledge Hub sessions.
Sōmrus also sponsored the Coffee Breaks at the Summit of the Americas – A Virtual Experience, on 5-9 April.
The House of Sōmrus Director Global Business Guy May said: “The House of Sōmrus is excited to partner with the Moodie Davitt team to bring our popular Global Brand Ambassadors, the Sadekar Sisters – Professional Golfers and Fashionistas, back to the second annual Virtual Travel Expo.
“The positive response we had to our sponsored Sōmrus Coffee Breaks at the show last year was overwhelming and we are pleased to be able to return this year with even more fun. As we’ll all be joining the Virtual Expo from different time zones, we’ll be looking to perk up your morning coffee, enjoy an afternoon pick-me-up, or splash some Sōmrus into your evening cocktail. Morning, noon, and night— Sōmrus suits every mood and occasion.”
As reported earlier today, Dubai Duty Free Executive Vice Chairman & CEO Colm McLoughlin and China Duty Free Group President Charles Chen are the latest big names to join a powerful speakers’ line-up in the Knowledge Hub at the Virtual Expo. Click here to register for the event.
Separately, The House of Sōmrus is suggesting what it terms the “perfect serve” to mark National Mango Day in India (22 July).
A post by the brand’s Founder and CEO Pankaj K (PK) Garg on social media highlights Sōmrus Mango cream liqueur, with Alphonso mangoes, handcrafted rum and fresh cream. Garg suggests a touch of tequila to make a “deliciously spiked” Mango Lassi. And he adds that the cocktail is a perfect partner to Tandoori Chicken.
Pankaj K (PK) Garg featured in a fascinating interview with The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie earlier this year. Readers can access it here.
